TN TRB Assistant Professor – Educational Qualification:
- For Engineering: B.E. or B.Tech and M.E. or M.Tech. with First Class or equivalent.
- For Law: MA Degree and Master’s degree in Law with at least 55% marks, along with NET or equivalent.
- For Arts & Science: Post-Graduate Degree with minimum 55% marks and pass in NET/SLET/SET/SLST/CSIR/JRF.

- Engineering: Not exceeding 57 years as of 01.07.2016.
- Law: Not exceeding 40 years as of 01.07.2018, with relaxation for reserved categories.
- Arts & Science: Should not have completed 57 years as of 01-07-2019.
