NTA NEET Result 2024 Key Information
- The National Testing Agency evaluates the answer sheets using standard procedures, and the results are displayed on the website: exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Candidates may download their respective score cards from this website. The NTA prepares the Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) according to qualifying criteria and other norms mentioned in Chapter 15 of the Bulletin as well as relevant regulations/guidelines from NMC, DGHS, MCC, Ministry of Ayush, NCISM, NCH, and AACCC.
NEET UG Merit List and Qualifying Criteria
- The NTA prepares the Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) based on qualifying/eligibility criteria and other relevant regulations/guidelines from NMC, DGHS, MCC, DCI, and Ministry of Ayush, NCISM, NCH, and AACCC.
To be eligible for admission to undergraduate medical courses:
- General, General-EWS: Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50th percentile in NEET UG.
- SC, ST, OBC: Candidates must obtain a minimum of 40th percentile.
- Candidates must pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together at the qualifying examination. For SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, the required marks are 40%.
